Finotive Funding was among the cohort of forex prop firms hit by the April 2024 MetaQuotes broker license terminations. Unlike larger competitors, Finotive could not secure replacement infrastructure on a viable timeline and effectively ceased operations. The firm did not formally announce closure until weeks later, leaving traders in limbo. By the time of the official shutdown, social media communities had largely already concluded the firm was finished.
