The Funded Trader (TFT) — March 2024 pause

On March 18, 2024, The Funded Trader announced an indefinite pause to all withdrawals and evaluations after MetaQuotes terminated their broker partnership. The pause lasted nearly two months, during which thousands of funded traders had no path to receive earned payouts. TFT eventually relaunched on a new broker stack with revised rules and a phased payout schedule for stranded traders. While the firm did ultimately survive, many traders never received their full balances and the trust hit was permanent. We list TFT here under "restructured" because the shutdown is a useful reference point even though the brand returned.
