True Forex Funds (TFF)

In early April 2024, MetaQuotes — the developer of MetaTrader 4 and 5 — revoked True Forex Funds' broker license, citing prohibited gray-label arrangements. TFF tried to migrate to alternative platforms but could not stabilize operations. Within a week, traders reported payout requests being rejected with no explanation. On April 12, 2024 the firm announced it would cease operations, refund pending evaluations, and "honor existing payout contracts" — though many traders subsequently reported never being paid in full. TFF's collapse came on the heels of MetaQuotes' broader crackdown on prop firms using their platform without licensed broker partnerships, which would later affect dozens of competitors.
