Account Types

Instant Funding

A prop firm program where traders receive a funded account immediately without passing an evaluation challenge.

Instant funding programs skip the traditional evaluation process, giving traders a funded (simulated) account as soon as they pay the fee.

How It Works

  1. Pay the instant funding fee (higher than evaluation fees)
  2. Receive a funded account immediately
  3. Start trading and withdrawing profits
  4. Same drawdown and trading rules apply

Pros

  • No evaluation stress: Start earning right away
  • Time savings: No days/weeks spent on evaluations
  • No profit target pressure: Just trade within the rules

Cons

  • Higher fees: Typically 2–5× more expensive than a regular evaluation
  • Lower starting profit split: Often 60–80% initially
  • Stricter rules: Tighter drawdown limits to compensate for no evaluation filter
  • Lower account sizes: May not offer the largest account options

Who It's Best For

  • Experienced traders who consistently pass evaluations anyway
  • Traders who want to start earning immediately
  • Those who find the evaluation process more stressful than helpful

Cost Comparison Example

| | Regular Evaluation | Instant Funding |

|---|---|---|

| Fee ($100K account) | $200–$400 | $500–$1,500 |

| Time to funded | 5–30 days | Immediate |

| Starting split | 80–90% | 60–80% |

| Drawdown | 5–6% | 3–5% |
