Verification Phase

The second phase of a two-step challenge, designed to confirm that Phase 1 results were based on skill, not luck.

The verification phase (Phase 2) is the second part of a two-step evaluation challenge. It's designed to confirm that your Phase 1 performance was the result of genuine trading skill.

Key Differences from Phase 1

| | Phase 1 | Phase 2 |

|---|---|---|

| Profit target | 8–10% | 4–5% |

| Drawdown rules | Same | Same |

| Min trading days | 5–10 | 5–10 |

| Time limit | 30 days (some firms) | 60 days (more lenient) |

Common Mistakes in Phase 2

  1. Overtrading: Rushing to hit the lower target instead of trading normally
  2. Changing strategy: Switching to a "safer" approach that isn't your edge
  3. Emotional letdown: Losing focus after the excitement of passing Phase 1
  4. Oversizing: Trying to pass quickly with larger positions

Tips for Passing

  • Trade Phase 2 exactly like Phase 1 — same strategy, same risk
  • The lower target means you need fewer winning trades
  • Don't overtrade — quality over quantity
  • Many firms offer unlimited time for Phase 2, so there's no rush

What Happens After

Once you pass verification, you receive your funded account. Most firms process this within 1–3 business days. You'll receive login credentials and can start trading for real profits.
