Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP) is arguably the single most important monthly economic report in the world. Released on the first Friday of every month at 8:30 AM ET by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, it provides a snapshot of the US labor market — and the labor market is the Fed's primary concern alongside inflation.
