The 24-Hour Market

Unlike stock markets with fixed opening and closing bells, the forex market operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. Trading opens Sunday at 5:00 PM ET (when Sydney opens) and runs continuously until Friday at 5:00 PM ET (when New York closes).
