Thinking Like a Portfolio Manager

Day traders typically manage one or two positions at a time. Swing traders, because of longer holding periods, often have 4-8 positions open simultaneously. This changes the risk management calculus fundamentally — you are no longer managing individual trades in isolation; you are managing a portfolio of correlated bets.
