The Pre-Market Routine
The most important work a day trader does happens before the market opens. Between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM ET, you should be scanning for stocks with unusual pre-market activity, identifying catalysts, analyzing charts, and building your trading plan for the day. By 9:30 AM, your watchlist should be set and your trade plans defined.
